    How to make shredded ham

    Here is how to make your own shredded ham in 3 easy steps!

    1. Place a toupie ham (no netting or ropes) in a pan and pour beer, water, or wine halfway up the meat. Add spices (cloves, pepper, star anise, bay leaves, etc.), to taste.
    2. Cook over medium-low heat for 4 hours.
    3. Remove the ham from the liquid. Let cool to room temperature, then remove the fatty parts and shred the ham with your hands (trying not to eat it all on spot!).

    Collect the broth and use it in a homemade soup!
