    Banana Ketchup

    Homemade Sweet Ketchup

Traveling is a great way to discover the dishes and foods of other cultures and to see what other people eat on a daily basis. Each trip is a way to experience new things, whether in cuisine or in other aspects of our lives.

Originally from Philippines, banana ketchup was popularized during the Second World War. At that time, there was a shortage in tomatoes and therefore in the production of homemade tomato ketchups.

SIMPLY DELICIOUS: Just like the traditional ketchup, banana ketchup is a condiment and can be eaten with burgers, friesgrilled meats… The possibilities are endless.

    What does allspice taste like?

Allspice, also known as Jamaica pepper, is popular in many ethnic cuisines. It has aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. You might therefore notice those flavours in your banana ketchup (homemade ketchups are so much more savory!).
